I bought my 2008 CRD last year (October 2012) with 144,000 miles, the only "issues" I have had with it was the Alternator went out at 152,000 and I had a small diff leak in the front at 156,000 so I have the whole drive train serviced (Front and Rear Diff and T-case). I set the level on my CRD last year , made a dipstick from a 1 meter long welding rod , and used my Dashhawk to record the temp.
After I had the oil cooler seals done last spring the jeep didn't get too much use over the summer, I was mainly just commuting to town in my other car.
