GW2 leveling is exploration-based. Grinding is the worst way to gain experience. The best way is to ignore experience altogether and, as you said, just play the game. What's over there, what's over there. Hey, let's talk to these NPCs, now let's explore that mountain. Then follow the stream.
Fastest way to 20 is to start in Factions and only follow the primary quest line until you get to Cantha mainland. You will be level 10 by the time you get to Kaineng Center. Then travel to Eye of the North from Kaineng and follow the primary quest until you get to Gunnar's Hold. There you do the Kilroy Stonekin dungeon until level 20.

Take a second to read what they wish you to do, then start looking for the relevant items, enemies, or animals, and start helping out. Before doing so, though, check the number in the corner by

Doing your personal story when you unlock it and map completion as you go is a great way to play if that is what you enjoy. You will reach level 80 before you finish the personal story and get 100% map completion. Mullciber. •. I, personally, dislike having to wait every ten levels to unlock the next bit of story. Hit 60-65ish, then 1-400 two different professions, mainly because by the time I hit that level I'm tired of map completing etc. keep in mind that crafting boosters only increase the chance of gaining bonus "Crafting" XP. What you will notice if you follow the guide is that you reach each new tier faster (less crafts), making the guide not as About the new leveling exp and Character Adventure Guides. After the last patch went up, I created a new character to check out how the early game feels with the new leveling exp. I'm actually surprised how good this seemingly small change really is. It closes some exp gaps we had before, where story interested people had to farm events to If you have a high level guild, make sure to pick up the Critical Crafting boost, which gives you a chance at getting increased experience gain from crafting. Levels 400-425 you can get away with by mostly refining materials.

Running by stonemist and tagging all the veteran mobs as the zerg rolled past the door got me a good 7-10% xp as well. Isopaha .8092 • 11 yr. ago. I leveled my guardian from 10-80 almost only in WvW. Sometimes it was really fast, and sometimes it was really slow. Still enjoyed every bit of it :)

You're better off going power-based build and at 80 branching into condition. Best warrior weapons & skills to unlock while levelling based on my own experience: Axe/Axe - Lots of damage spiking. Greatsword - Mobility and heavy hits. Healing - Mending: Condi cleanse & heal. Good forever. #crafting #GW2 #GuildWars2Armorsmith was a real pain to level, I'll be honest! Even skipped a discovery along the way (sorry!) I left a text box to warn you
Honestly leveling is super easy from 1-80. Get some XP boosters and just do hearts and events and pick up waypoints and PoIs around the map. Don't worry about leveling in this game, it goes super fast. Alts will also be insanely fast because you get items you can use for free levels.
